Want to help RIPPLE?
We are a community service supported by the community we serve.
At RIPPLE, we believe something simple, yet powerful:
the strongest support systems are built by the very people they serve.
Since 2020, Recovery Innovations for Pursuing Peer Leadership and Empowerment (RIPPLE) has been a peer-driven, community-based organization providing connection, resources, and hope across Connecticut. We are not funded by the state, nor do we operate under large contracts, we are sustained by the collective effort of individuals who believe in what we do.
Every group we host, every resource we share, and every life we touch is made possible by people like you. If you believe in accessible, peer-led support, there are four meaningful ways you can help strengthen and grow this work:

Make a Donation
Your financial support helps cover the essential costs that keep RIPPLE running—web hosting, printed materials, outreach, and the tools we use to connect with people in need. Even small contributions make a real and immediate impact.

Share Your Story (Write a Testimonial)
Your experience matters. By sharing how RIPPLE has helped you, or why you believe in peer support, you help others feel less alone and more willing to reach out. Your voice can inspire someone to take their first step toward recovery. This also allows us a way to share with potential donors the impact we have through the services we provide.

Volunteer with RIPPLE
RIPPLE is powered by people. Whether you have lived experience, professional skills, or simply a desire to help others, volunteering is a meaningful way to give back while strengthening the recovery community.

Help Spread the Word
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply share a resource. By telling others about RIPPLE, whether it’s a friend, a family member, or your broader network, you help connect people to support when they need it most. This also allows us to meet new people and grow our network as well, it gives us an opportunity to learn more about the needs in our community and creates a pool of fresh ideas on how we can help.
We use the word community a lot because we would not be where we are today without you.
RIPPLE exists because people choose to show up, for themselves and for each other. Together, we are building something that is accessible, human, and rooted in lived experience. While it is true that as a society we created a “system” of care, it was never meant to replace the instinctive practice of peer support, one person helping another.
However you choose to support this work, you are helping create a stronger, more connected recovery community. A practice that elevates us all together as one.
